Optimizely CMS 13 and the first bug fixes

Optimizely CMS 13 was released on March 31st, 2026, and there were some issues.

Two widely used add-ons were missing:

  • Forms
  • Languages (formerly LanguageManager)

Additionally, when hosting the site in Azure (outside Optimizely’s own DXP platform), the application could enter an infinite license-checking loop on startup, effectively preventing it from running.

Today, April 9th, two of these issues have been fixed.

As the license bug is fixed, this blog is finally upgraded to CMS 13!

Great work Optimizely team, but there still is some minor issues to work on!
