The camera is used solely to scan barcodes. No images or video are stored or transmitted.

When a barcode is scanned, the barcode number is sent to the following third-party services to retrieve product or book information:

Open Food Facts — for product lookups
Open Library — for book lookups (ISBN barcodes)
These requests contain only the barcode number. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for how they handle requests.

The app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.
