Problem with Realtek(R) USB GbE Family Controller

Seven years ago (in 2018) I bought a Svive USB-C to RJ45 adapter, as my current laptop does not have en ethernet port.

Not sure if I ever used it until now, but with Windows 11 it didn't work without putting up a fight.

The device manager shows the network adapter with a warning symbol, and it does not work.

In order to make it work, follow these steps:

• Right click the adapter, select «update driver»
• Cilck «Browse my computer for drivers»
• Click «Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer»
• Select «Realtek(R) USB Ethernet Controller (Microsoft)»
• Click «Next» and then «Close»
